TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above locations.

A temporary implementation of one way is required on The Nook and prohibition of waiting/loading is required on Croft Road & Broughton Road, Cosby for up to 5 days commencing on the 7th December 2020.

Across the district Covid-19 cases have continued to rise at a very worrying pace and hospital admissions are also on the increase. Overall in the district there are now 280.7 cases per 100,000 people.

ADVANCE NOTICE - SAFETY Cosby Playground & Victory Park

SAFETY

The laying of the tarmac to the new pathway through Victory Park will mean that for an entire day for SAFETY REASONS, the Childrens playground will be closed and areas of Victory Park will be inaccessible as lorries and other equipment will be moving around.

No firm date can be given as this work is weather dependant but members of the public are asked to avoid the area during these works.

Work is scheduled to start w/c 21st September 2020 to install a new tarmac footpath between Lady Leys and Narborough Road and linking up with the footpath to the children's playground.This will ensure that no matter what the weather, all users will enjoy a mud free route across Victory Park. Dogs on Victory park

It is our sad duty to publicise the ever increasing level of dog mess being left on Victory Park.

The most recent events have seen dog mess left in the children's play area, on and around the football pitches and today, we have a report of dog mess on the table tennis table.
