Rail Freight consultation underway
The public consultation for the Hinckley National Rail Freight Interchange has started.
Tritax Symmetry's consultation on their Rail Freight Interchange proposals will now be open for residents to have their say over the next eight weeks. Information can be found at www.hinckleynrfi.co.uk/, and comments can be made until Wednesday 09 March 2022.

Leisure Centres Reopen
Enderby Leisure Centre and Huncote Leisure Centre have now reopened their doors to the public.
As of 12 April, members of the public can use the gym and pool facilities (the golf course in Enderby opened 29 March). Community Grant Scheme open
£20,000 in new Community Grant funding has been made available by Blaby District Council to support environmentally friendly projects in the district.

Disruption to bin collections
Check to see if we will be returning to collect your bin
Our crews have been out in the district collecting bins today, but due to the snow and ice we have been unable to get to some streets. Refuse, recycling and garden waste collections have been affected.
All streets that we were unable to collect from today will now be completed on Thursday this week (28 January). Please re-present your bin ready... Read More »

We are having to suspend our garden waste collection for two weeks from Monday (16 November) due to staff shortages as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
