A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location: BLABY BYPASS & SURROUNDING AREA (see attached plan).
The purpose of the TTRO is to allow LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL to safely facilitate carriageway/footway/footpath patching and bridge deck waterproofing and various highway maintenance works.

Cases update for the district
New Figures out from Leicestershire County Council have shown that the number of cases in the district stands at 294.5 per 100,000 people. This is a slight reduction from the 309.3 per 100,000 people last week, but numbers still remain higher than the current national average of 243.3.

Walk-in Covid-19 test centre to open in Narborough
A temporary Covid-19 walk-in test centre will be set up on the Visitors Car Park at Blaby District Council's Offices on Desford Road in Narborough.

Across the district Covid-19 cases have continued to rise at a very worrying pace and hospital admissions are also on the increase. Overall in the district there are now 280.7 cases per 100,000 people.

Visitors to Cosby Victory Park may have notice a couple of tractors moving slowly up and down the park over the football pitches and leaving small spiked holes in the ground no bigger than a penny in diameter and roughly 6 to 8 inches deep.
